Another Thank You

Gord, one of our hardworking coordinators who has also submitted a large number of photos himself received this note: -

Just a note to say "Thank you" for taking the time to photograph and put online the photo of my grand uncle's headstone from Beechwood. In exploring our family tree David McEwan's story was a sad one. He had been committed to the asylum in Brockville, and in a fit of despair threw himself onto the train tracks before an oncoming locomotive. His wife Lilian bore the burden of being left behind, and I find it poignant that she put at the bottom of the stone "Some Day We Will Understand"
Every stone, another story.
